The worst team of 2008 IPL Deccan Chargers enters the final of 2009 IPL, as they beat Delhi Daredevils in the 1st semi-final by 6 wickets as captain Gichrist hit fastest half century of IPL in just 17 balls on Friday, May 22nd.
Delhi Daredevils lost 2 wickets without a run on the board and then Seheag and Dilshan then rebuilt the inning with a 85 runs partnership contributed 39 runs and 65 runs respectively. Ryan Harris and RP Singh took 2 wickets each.
Adam Gilchrist the lead from the front hit 5 ours in the 1st over of the inning and never allowed Delhi bowlers to bounce back in his innig of 85 runs off 35 balls with 10 fours and 5 sixes to take his team in the final of IPL2 on Sunday, May 24th.
